Bed Bugs
Bed bugs are mahogany coloured insects that spend the day in
cracks in or around the carcase of the bed. They hate a light
environment.
A close examination of the bed frame will reveal the insect which is obvious to the naked eye. Indeed black spotting will be
seen on the bed frame, which is indicative of the bed bugs
excreta. Insects will even wander onto other furniture in the
bedroom and treat it with a similar lack of respect.
The insect senses heat in the bed from its occupant and moves
quickly to gorge on the unfortunate humans blood. After a
typical feed of about 10 minutes, it will retreat back to its
haven.
The occupant of the bed is left with an unsightly welt, which is
sizable and very itchy.
Egg laying is prolific and a straightforward professional
treatment is recommended.

Cockroaches
Cockroach infestations can become
deep rooted within a building very quickly. Therefore, a
professional treatment is always recommended. Infestations
quickly multiply with cockroaches developing into adulthood in
only a matter of weeks where the conditions are perfect.
Northern Ireland's most common invaders are the Oriental
Cockroach and the German Cockroach. Both of these hide in cracks
and crevices and their ability at spreading disease is well
documented.
Cockroaches like warm and humid environments, however, their
adaptability is underlined by the fact that they were the first
life form to re-inhabit the area in Japan decimated by the Atom
Bomb.
